We hope this info finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

Best of Health,
In an effort to support national efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, our practice is taking the following steps to help assure your health and well-being and that of our community:
We will reschedule routine hygiene appointments. If you are already scheduled for an urgent issue, we will contact you the day before your appointment to discuss your health status, health screening protocols and confirm whether the appointment should be kept. Of course, please call us right away if you have a dental emergency or need immediate care.
The safety and well-being of our patients continues to be our primary concern. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally and within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding our plans to reopen for business as usual. Please check back our website for business hours.
Throughout our history, as a health care provider, we have always followed the highest standards for safety and sanitation. Doctor Nguyen and our care team take these actions very seriously, and we want you to feel confident and safe during your visit. We understand these changes may be inconvenient and frustrating to our patients. We hope by taking these steps, we can prevent the spread of the virus in our community.
The most important thing we all can do is practice good hand hygiene – washing your hands often or using hand sanitizer. Also, avoid touching your face. In addition, whenever possible, maintain a social distance (6 feet) from others.
We are closely monitoring our local and state health departments, the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure that our patients and team members stay safe and remain healthy. As developments occur, we will quickly adapt and will be ready to support you and your loved ones.
We encourage you to visit King County Public Health, Wa Department of Health, CDC, to learn about the virus and protocols and obtain updates about how to protect yourself and others. We also encourage you to call the Washington State Department of Health Coronavirus Hotline at 800-525-0127 and check your local news for up-to-the-minute updates.
Lastly, we appreciate your trust in Excellent Dental Care Center and would like to thank you for your flexibility and patience as we implement additional steps of providing the best dental care while reducing the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus. Our goal is to protect you, your loved ones and our team members, and wish you remain healthy. We look forward to seeing you soon. If you have questions, please contact our care team at (253) 275-3366, Email Us or Our Contact form.
